What you get

The answer is live, not stored
We resolve the code the moment you ask. If they withdrew it this morning, you find that out now rather than reading a confirmation that was true last week.
You need two things, not one
The code and their date of birth. That way a code somebody glimpsed over a shoulder, or forwarded by accident, is no use on its own.
It costs nothing and needs no account
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. We would rather you actually check than decide it is not worth the trouble.
What it is not
Three things a confirmation does not mean.
Worth reading before you rely on one, because the gap between what people assume and what this says is where trust gets misplaced.
It is not a character reference
A confirmation says DAJU verified who this person is. It says nothing about whether they will pay the rent, do the job, or turn up. That is still your judgement.
It is not a credit or criminal check
We check identity. We do not check finances, employment history or records of any kind, and a verified profile should not be read as a clean bill of anything.
A screenshot proves nothing
If a picture of this page counted, forging one would take a minute. Resolve the code yourself — the resolution is the check, not the page it produces.

You cannot look someone up here.
There is no directory and no search. You can only check somebody who chose to give you a code — which is what stops this becoming a list of verified people for anybody who wants one.
If you need to verify someone regularly
Ask them to share a code, or look at what DAJU does for organisations — running verifications yourself is a different product from checking one somebody hands you.
If your organisation is on the DAJU register
Sign in and check there instead. A person who shares with a registered organisation by name is shared with only that organisation — the code will not open on this page, even for them, and your check carries your name so they can see who looked.
